Tomato noodles!

When I married into the Maple family I was introduced to a delicacy called tomato noodles. As a nervous girlfriend I was polite and ate a small portion and smiled. Now, I would not consider myself a picky eater, but I did not enjoy them at all!! Joe doesn't understand because I love tomato soup. I guess he thinks it taste like tomato soup, but it doesn't. Once I was an official Maple I chose to skip this once a year meal. this entree is homemade noodles, which is then cooked in a concoction of butter, diced tomatoes, and tomato soup. Once they are cooked they pour them in a bowl and begin to chow down. They also eat them with the strangest things, some of them pour milk in it (YUCK), others eat them with chips-potato and tortilla, and others eat them with crackers. For a while I was the only one who did not eat them, but finally Paige wised up and began to boycott them also. So for a few Christmas eve meals, Paige and I ate Sonic for dinner. Well, Paige and I still do not eat them as well as none of my kids (and I have not influenced them one way or another). However, Kenzi loves to cook and asked her Nana if she could help unroll the noodles. While they were making them Joe convinced Kenzi that she liked them so she gave it a try.  She ate a very small amount and told them she liked it (I think to please everyone because that's the kinda girl she is).  Ky on the other hand had to be bribed.  He took one small bite and he did not like it.  So now maybe Joe's little sweet pea will cook and eat them with him since I refuse!
